...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING...

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 5 to 8
feet expected in the surf zone.

* WHERE...Coastal Palm Beach County and Coastal Broward County.

* WHEN...For the High Rip Current Risk, through Sunday evening.
For the High Surf Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 8 PM EDT
Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.


Rip currents: Gusty onshore flow and surf will result in a high risk
of rip currents for the east coast beaches tonight.

Marine: Hazardous winds and seas continue over the Atlantic waters,
and including the Gulf waters tonight.

High Surf: Dangerous surf conditions will begin to develop along the
Palm Beach and Broward coasts, with large breaking waves of 5 to 8
feet possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.


The rip current risk will remain elevated across the Atlantic Coast
beaches into the weekend. Additionally, high surf may develop along
the Palm Beach coastline this weekend.

Hazardous marine conditions are likely over the area waters through
the remainder of the weekend as easterly winds remain elevated.

Dangerous surf conditions are expected the rest of this weekend
along the Palm Beach and Broward coasts, with large breaking waves
of 5 to 8 feet in the surf zone.
